Lampe Z – Diapositive n°1
Whether as a sconce, overhead, footed, placed on the ground or on a piece of furniture, lying its side or standing, alone or in clusters, The Lampe Z fits in just about everywhere, for any occasion, with any bulb, like a bogue or a bracelet.
Baroque, with its air of a ruff worn at court, the Lampe Z is not an object that dominates space, but rather adapts, whatever the circumstance. It is supple and can be shaped. Both light and solid, it stands up under the stress of travel and can deal with change. A simple strop of metallic fabric folds and unfolds with extreme regularity, like an accordion. Every 1 or 2 centimeters, the metal is reversed, again and again, to wind up as a discreet hem, in a wink to the properties of metal fabrics. The continuous folding of the metal increases the points of contact with the light source, diffusing it like a radiator the heat of the lamp, which can be handled without risk. Edited by Fontana Arte, the Lampe Z comes in a variety of projects and will be utilized in the refurbishing of the Pavillon Dufour at the Château of Versailles.
