NEW CHAIR BNF

Coedition

The new chair BNF is as much a re-edition as an evolution of the original model of the reading chairs, which, by thousands, furnish the spaces of the big library. Fruit of a collaboration with the publisher Coedition, this new model keep as before her from now on famous silhouette originally edited by Martin Stoll. The rigor, the thickness and the hard angles of pietements and frame go alongside with the sensual and supple game of curves of the beech molded hull, which form basis and back. Originally made of wood, the frame of the basis became metallic. The simple substitution of a material by an other one, generates an ambiguous feeling of permanence and radical discontinuity, of known and unknown. This re-edition was the opportunity to adjust even more finely the mechanism of suspension of the back which seems to float in a field of strength generated by the frame.
