In the heart of the capital, the Poste du Louvre is a block of stone, closed on three sides, and open to the public through its unique post office, located rue du Louvre. The urban and architectural concept consisted of reintroducing this heritage complex into the life of its neighborhood and making it a real place of life and services, accessible to all. The main idea of the project is that of a mutation: that of an industrial complex into an urban complex. On the one hand, by the transformation of a monofunctional building, dedicated to postal activities, into a volume accommodating a mix of uses (restaurant, hotel, shops, social housing, offices, etc.). On the other hand, by the transformation of a closed volume into a more open volume.
